Our mission is to create wholesome, affordable, family-friendly meals to satisfy the palate, support sustainable food practices and give back to our local community.
We offer traditional homemade Italian fare served fast and fresh in-house or to-go. We work with local ranchers and growers, use organic, local ingredients whenever possible to ensure a farm-to-table menu. Made from scratch soups, salads, sauces and dressings, weekly chef specials based on availability of quality ingredients and all your favorite feel-good dishes offer something for everyone. Vegetarian and gluten-free options always available.
How it all Works: We offer Counter Service by day from 11am - 5pm. Just come in our front door and order from one of our friendly waitstaff or call your order in so it's ready upon your arrival. When you join us for dinner after 5pm, allow our host to seat you in our dining room and be prepared to be waited on with impeccable service.
Why the name? Pom is short for Pomodoro, or tomato, the base of most of our dishes. And being that we are serving up Italian flavors straight from the farm to the table, it just seemed fitting to shorten it up.

Pom Italian was born much sooner than planned for Chef/Co-Owner Robert Carrington and Co-Owner Sarah Russell. As recent transplants to Red Lodge at the end of 2016, they had dreams of opening a restaurant and Pom Italian came to be just a little too easily in May 2017. After closing for the winter the two are thrilled to open again as a year-round establishment in their new location, still located on historic Broadway in Downtown Red Lodge.
Chef Robert is passionate about his craft and is excited to share the art of preparing a meal. Pom Italian now offers classes, workshops and retreats in the culinary arts for all ages and experience. Explore the flavors from across the globe in monthly classes September through April and an annual retreat in Italy. More information available on OMsteading.

Roll on over once a month September through April for an Asian Fusion Night. You might be wondering what the heck an Italian joint is doing serving up something like sushi. And our best answer is that we love sushi, seafood and Asian cuisine and know it is hard to find the good stuff in Montana. So why not be the ones to bring it. Luckily our chef has experience in fusion flair.
Sushi night is by reservation only at 6pm. This ensures quality and fresh ingredients brought in over the weekend and prepared specifically for this night.
